You would need some pretty good documentation of provenance, *AND* you'd need to find the right buyer who is really, really into Heart. That's one of those very niche things that few people/guitarists have any interest in. If you have some kind of documentation that it belonged to the guitarist of Heart, it *may* have a slightly higher value. If it were mine and I were trying to sell it, I'd probably list it at $800 and take offers. (The Sparkle finishes, like yours, as well as some others like the Seafoam Green and Burgundy Mist are rare.) If I had to guess, I'd say your guitar is probably worth somewhere between $700-$1000. The Peerless guitars are actually pretty well-regarded by Epiphone aficionados, and the more rare colors seem to fetch higher prices. ![]() The market on used guitars seems to fluctuate. I'm not sure exactly when they started and when they stopped, but a quick Google search could probably give you more information on it than you'll ever likely need.Īs far as value? It's hard to say. Peerless is a factory in Korea that Gibson/Epiphone contracted to make guitars in the 90's.
